As the Founder & CEO of AVC Innovations, Ram Sathwik is leading the development of an innovative AI-powered wearable speech restoration device designed to assist individuals who have lost their ability to speak. The solution integrates a sophisticated multi-sensor architecture comprising piezoelectric sensors, MEMS microphones, airflow sensors, and inertial measurement units (IMUs), combined with a cloud-based artificial intelligence pipeline to enable real-time speech synthesis. With a provisional patent already filed and hardware development actively progressing, his work has the potential to significantly improve communication accessibility and quality of life for speech-impaired individuals.
In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Ram Sathwik serves as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at AIC-CCMB (Atal Incubation Centre, CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology), Hyderabad, under the mentorship of Dr. Karthikeyan Vasudevan, Chief Scientist at CSIR-CCMB. His research focuses on soil acoustics, embedded sensing technologies, and micro-invertebrate detection systems, contributing to innovative approaches in environmental monitoring and scientific research.
