P. V. S. D. D. Mallikarjuna is a semiconductor enthusiast, educator, and entrepreneur committed to transforming engineering education through practical learning, research, and innovation. As the Founder of PrimeMOS Research & Solutions, an MSME-registered semiconductor ecosystem, he is leading efforts to provide students and aspiring engineers with real-world exposure to semiconductor technology, VLSI design, and advanced chip development.

Recognizing the growing disconnect between classroom learning and industry requirements, Mallikarjuna established PrimeMOS with a mission to create a research-first ecosystem where students can gain authentic engineering experience rather than relying solely on conventional academic projects. Under his leadership, PrimeMOS enables students to work on comprehensive semiconductor projects spanning the complete digital implementation flow—from RTL design to GDSII—under the guidance of experienced mentors and IEEE-published researchers.

PrimeMOS has successfully expanded its reach across universities affiliated with JNTUH, JNTUK, Osmania University (OU), and VTU, providing students with access to industry-standard Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools, structured mentorship programs, semiconductor research opportunities, and advanced VLSI training. By combining academic learning with practical implementation, the organization is helping develop a new generation of engineers who are better prepared for careers in the semiconductor and electronics industries.

Beyond education and research, PrimeMOS also supports startups and MSMEs with end-to-end semiconductor design services, contributing to the growth of India’s rapidly evolving semiconductor ecosystem.
